SEEHOF PALACE by Paige Evans

Journaling says: I hope some how, some way, you remember going on all of these awesome European adventures!

How to: Punch petals from every 6x6 paper in the Printshop collection by Shanna Noel for Studio Calico (American Crafts). Layer the paper petals in a circle on the left half of a gray chevron paper layout background then top the design with two black & white photos. Place a scalloped border sticker below the photos, add mini letter stickers above for the title, then embellish around the photos with a gold ribbon bow, wood veneer heart, and badge as shown. Add sentiment stickers, a cork flower, wood veneer heart, and a word transparency on the top right corner. Sprinkle black India ink, white sequins, and teeny tiny wood veneer hearts on the top right and bottom left corners. Write journaling on the bottom right corner and stamp stars and the date below.

Supplies: Patterned paper, badge, ribbon bow, wood veneer hearts, stickers (border, sentiments), word transparency, sequins, cork flower: Studio Calico; India ink: ArtPro; Pen, roller date stamp, adhesive: American Crafts; Petals punch: Fiskars

POTTY TRAINED by Paige Evans

Journaling says: We did the "bribery" method for potty training and you know what? It worked like a charm! You'd go potty 20 ties a day just so you could get another surprise. Whatever works! Good job!

How to: Trim the top 1/2" from a yellow striped paper layout background leaving the bottom tearaway strip intact. Punch tons of confetti stars from the Cut & Paste line by Amy Tangerine for American Crafts as well as coordinating cardstock. Print a large star, cut it out, trace it onto transparent packaging material, cut out the star, then machine stitch using white thread around about 8 sides of the star to attach it to a yellow patterned paper block to make a pocket. Pour some star confetti into the star pocket then sew a straight line above it. Pour some more star confetti into the pocket, and sew another line. Repeat until the entire star is full and finish sewing the star to the yellow paper. Cut out the star then sew it to the background using blue thread. Hand stitch around the star using orange floss. Place three photos on the bottom right corner. Layer epoxy border stickers, a sentiment sticker, chipboard number, wood veneer star, hexagon rub on, and arrows stamped with black ink on the bottom right corner as shown. Journal on a die cut card, tuck it under the top edge of the photos, then embellish with a chipboard arrow, fabric photo corner sticker, and arrow rub ons, then stamp the date above. Cluster a "status" sticker, fabric photo corner sticker, mini alphabet stickers for a title, chipboard arrow, and arrow rub on on the bottom left corner. Place a label sticker on the top edge along with a chipboard hexagon topped with a "cool" stickers. Drop dark blue spray mist around the layout to finish.

Supplies: Cardstock, patterned paper, stickers ("cool", epoxy borders, fabric photo corners, label, mini alphabet, sentiment, "status"), chipboard (arrows, hexagon, number), journaling card, rub ons (arrows, hexagon), stamps (arrows, roller date), ink, pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Floss: DMC; Wood veneer: American Crafts (arrow card), Studio Calico (stars); Spray mist: Studio Calico; Star confetti punch: Martha Stewart Crafts; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark; Other: Transparent packaging material
