Simple Things Layout by Lady Nany

Hello creative friends, it's Lady Nany with a new layout using Paige's Horizon collection. Have you seen the myriad of possibilities we have with so many beautiful colors?! Today I chose pink and blue because this page portrays me and my father.

First I chose the Doily cut file and cut it with my Silhouette Cameo four times in different sizes from white cardstock. I selected Paper 02 as the basis of my project and I pasted the Doilies on the edges trying to make them stand out a bit then I trimmed the excess. I love texture on my pages so I sewed the doilies by hand with blue and pink thread. On the two larger doilies I added sequins and the two smaller ones blue knots.

I placed the photo in the center and decorated it with one of the cards from Paper 01 that comes in the Horizon Project Pad, the "Simple Things" card as the title. The Shaped Paper Clips are a super cute detail so I also added a scooter one to the photo. Following with the two colors chosen for this project (blue and pink) I added several Ephemera Die Cuts and Stickers.

On the sides of the photo I stamped some designs from the Acrylic Stamps using Distress Oxides. I added butterflies with foam tape to create dimension. To finish I added the date with black ink and I wrote the journaling.
