Grateful Layout by Stefanie Ried

Hello and welcome to a new layout from me, Stefanie Ried, my first project with the new collection Truly Grateful. The colors are sooo beautiful!! First I looked through all the papers. Usually the first ideas come when I look at them. Often I write small notes and stick them to the papers. Then it says what I want to do with it. Because I often forget my ideas, haha :)
The paper with the trees (Paper 07) is an absolute highlight. Isn't it beautiful? I love the colorful trees. And it's a different motif. And so I chose it for my first layout.

First, I cut out the trees. So that the trees create more dimension on the layout, I have equal colors folded and sewn in the middle. The result is beautiful folded trees that make the layout more interesting.

In between I glued some trees with 3D glue dots. The branches are sewn and decorated with sequins from the Mixed EmbellishmentsStickersPuffy Stickers, and cut out motifs. It's like a colorful, living forest. In between I have inserted the photo in the shape of a tree. The forest was supposed to be the central focus, I kept the rest of the layout neutral.

I hope you like my layout. See you next time!
