Stacked Suitcases Illustrated Faith Bible Page by Paula Fiihr

Happy Saturday! Paula Fiihr here with my next project featuring Paige's cut files. I chose my Illustrated Faith Bible for the foundation of today's post, as it gave me lots more room to play. The verse is Psalm 19:7 and fits perfectly with my theme. I chose the Floral Books Stacked cut file and cut it to 3 1/2 x 9" with a paper from the Bloom Street 12x12 Paper Pad.

Because I love pockets, I decided to add one to the bottom of the cut file. I backed that section, along with a couple others, with paper from the 12x12 Paper Pad. Then I glued it all down, leaving space to add in my journaling card. The card, which is from the 6x8 Paper Pad, has a tab and circle punched from paper scraps and sewed along the top to makes it easy to pull out. I jotted down a few thoughts and tucked it in.

To decorate the book stack, I added a few stickers from the 4-Page Sticker Book and hearts from the Puffy Vinyl Stickers. The word ‘LOVED' came from the Cardstock Stickers and has a foam dot underneath.  I sewed on the phrase ‘today is a new day’ which was cut from the B-side of Paper 13 and also attached it with a foam dot. The 'Fresh Start' words, which inspired the page, are from the Puffy Vinyl Stickers. A little black pen work and the page is done.

Thanks for reading, let me know what you think!

  1. I really love the top and bottom edge of your design Paula. The drips of colour in rainbow fashion is so pretty. Is it watercolour? It's all super pretty and inspiring 💕 K
