Here is one of the layouts I was going to teach at Crop & Create in Cornwall yesterday, but life had other plans for me. Anyway, it's called Silly Selfies and it uses only a few things from my Pick-Me-Up collection!
I started with the light pink ledger B-side of Paper 20 as the background. Then I cut apart all of the individual squares of patterns from Paper 10 and cut those squares in half to make triangles. I arranged the triangles into rainbow order. I made a mark with a pencil in the middle of the background, 6 inches in and 6 inches down and then starting in the middle, placed the triangles into nine squares made up of four triangles each, using similar colored papers for each square (all the purple papers for one square, red papers for another square, yellow for another, etc). I distressed the edges of each triangle and then adhered them in place using dimensional adhesive, trying not to place them too perfectly so you can tell the triangles are individual pieces and give the layout a handmade look.Silly Selfies Layout
