Happy first day of September! I am so excited for cooler temps, leaves changing colors, cozy sweaters, and the start to the holiday season. I have a layout to share with you today that I made last fall using the Farmstead Harvest collection by American Crafts.
This page features my Leaves Background for Stitching Cut File. I had my Cricut cut out the holes for stitching and then I did various types of stitches through the holes with colors of thread to match the Farmstead Harvest collection.
I did a chain stitch, back stitch, and running stitch for a fun variety. The stitching probably took about 8-10 hours to complete and it's the main focal design element of this page.
Two sweet photos of Jane overlap on the bottom right side and I added a few stickers and enamel dots into open gaps to complete the background.
I just LOVE the texture of all this stitching. Seems so very FALL.
