Hi scrappy friends! Monique Lowe here with a brand new layout that’s close to my heart - documenting my son’s Autumn Park Run adventures using Paige’s Legendary collection. This collection is packed with bold icons, earthy tones, and just the right amount of outdoorsy charm - perfect for capturing those crisp, energetic mornings at the park!
To kick things off, I created a full 12x12 background using three patterned papers layered in broad horizontal strips. I placed the Life in Progress Paper with its gorgeous foliage print at the top and the This is the Vibe Paper (which reminds me of tiny trees) at the bottom. These two instantly gave my page a forest-like feel, echoing the natural setting of the park run. Sandwiched between them is the Creative Energy Paper, providing a bold background for my photos. Next came the action shots - four photos of my little runner mid-stride, full of determination. I backed each one with a soft peach paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad to bring in those warm autumn tones and arranged them in a horizontal strip across the centre of the page. To add a playful and motivational touch, I fussy cut some awesome icons from the Legendary Moments Paper and placed one above each photo. The sentiments on these couldn’t have been more perfect - they really captured the spirit of his run! For the title, I reached for the Ephemera Die Cuts and found just the right phrase to sum up the moment. I also added a Journaling Die Cut to record his park run stats, because those personal bests deserve to be celebrated! To finish things off, I sprinkled in a few more Ephemera Die Cuts including a clock to represent his PB time plus a Cardstock Sticker and Puffy Sticker. Thanks so much for stopping by!
