Hi friends! Monique Lowe here today sharing a festive layout featuring Paige's Christmas Rainbow from the new bundle of 25 Christmas Cut Files 2025 along with her Very Merry Christmas collection.
To start, I backed the Christmas Rainbow with a mix of papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and theFeels Like Christmas Paper. To give extra texture, I pierced holes along each rainbow arch and added hand stitching with white thread. It took a bit of extra time but I love the cozy, handmade look. The holly berries got dressed up with sequins and beads and I added delicate stitching to the snowflakes too. Pink Enamel Dots in the middle of each peppermint wheel and a star from the Chipboard Stickers found its home at the top of the Christmas tree. Next, I splashed some watercolors onto white mixed media cardstock in coordinating shades. Once dried, I angled the Good Cheer Paper across the left side of the page. Then down went the rainbow, bold and bright! This layout is extra special because I’m documenting my twins’ very first Christmas. It’s hard to believe it was a whole decade ago! Revisiting those photos brings back so many precious memories. I layered this precious family pic with vellum and another sheet from the 6x8 Paper Pad, tucked in a sentiment tab from the Tags Ephemera Die Cuts and florals from the Icon Ephemera Die Cuts, and finished with a sweet Phrase Cardstock Sticker. And that’s my first Christmas layout of the season! I had so much fun mixing stitching, sparkle, and watercolor splashes with the Christmas Rainbow cut file from the 25 Christmas Cut Files 2025 and Very Merry Christmas and just loved revisiting those magical first Christmas memories.
