I forgot the cable that transfers pictures onto my computer at home and won't have it until later next week. So, the next couple of blog posts I'm gonna have to find things online. Some things on my mind:
1) We saw The Dark Knight on Friday morning - the 9am show actually. I don't think I've ever seen a movie that early in the morning. I still can't believe Heath Ledger is dead. He was the best scary/crazy/mad man I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of scary movies.
I can't believe it was Heath Ledger beneath all that make up, playing some insane psycho - I can't believe it's the same guy in A Knight's Tale (what's with him and movies with "Knight" in them?). I hope he wins an Oscar because he was so unbelievably believable. Great movie, I most definitely recommend it for those over the age of 13.
2) Speaking of movies - as an avid X-Filer I am impatiently waiting for the release of X-Files: I Want To Believe next Friday. Pretty cool movie poster with their shadows making an "X".
Fun fun fun. Any other X-Files fans out there? My favorite episode is Small Potatoes.
3) I'm craving some of this right about now:
4) Twilight Teez is having major server issues. They promised Bella's engagement ring would be available for pre-sale at 3pm on Friday but their server crashed. So it was supposed to be available today at 12pm and once again their server crashed. Now it's "supposed" to be available tomorrow at 12pm. For all our troubles they're offering 10% off orders placed before July 27th.
Here's the official message from the Chief Technology Officer:
"I thought I had this licked. Once again, I grossly underestimated the demand this was going to cause. Our database server was overwhelmed and could not handle the number of individual connections that were being called for. I ask once again for your patience. I know that our credibility may be going down the tubes, but I truly did not understand the demand for Bella's Engagement Ring. I offer my most humble apologies for this inconvenience. Please forgive me and Twilight Teez and we so appreciate your continued patience."
I find it all rather amusing - we Twilighters are causing trouble. I kinda want to wait until after Breaking Dawn comes out to seriously consider getting a ring because what if they don't even get married? What if she gives the ring away? The ring wouldn't be significant anymore. Only 13 days until Breaking Dawn comes out and I will find out. I can wait. But then I'd lose the discount. Maybe they've talked to Stephenie Meyer already and she's promised they do get married and the ring stays important...What to do, what to do?
