The One with Displaying Layouts

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

I make layouts and the tuck them away into scrapbooks and never see them again except on a rare occasion when I feel like getting nostalgic and pull them out. Monday night on a whim I decided to hang some of my favorite layouts on the wall above my computer so I can appreciate them for a bit longer.
Photobucket
I plan to rotate them out as I create new layouts every month.
Photobucket
Hopefully the sun won't bleach them too much.

I simply stapled three pieces of twine to the wall and then clipped on my layouts. Maybe I'll tie bows of ribbon to the ends to schnazz it up a bit.

Don't look too closely or you'll notice I used cute clips for the top row of layouts and then paper clips for the bottom two rows... I need to get more clips from somewhere asap.

I've seen scrappers hang their layouts from curtain rods, clip them to chicken coop wire, display them on little shelves, etc. - all great ideas so thanks for the inspiration to do so with my own layouts!

  2. Hey that's a good idea! I love scrapbooking but I don't like my layouts just hidden away in a scrapbook. I actually taped my favorite pages on my wall a couple days ago!

p.s. I spy with my little eye.. Jadis in the last picture on this post :)
