Hear ye, hear ye:
(besides my own Dald of course :)
Thanks to a little guy named Fox, Chris is now a daddy. And he's an amazing one at that! He sacrifices so much of his precious time to watch Fox every day so I can work. He should and needs to be studying, but he still watches Fox anyways and stays up late to do school stuff. Chris can make Fox giggle and laugh like no one else. Chris is so patient. He reads Fox Berenstain Bears books and it's so cute to hear and watch. We sing that Primary song "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home" every day when Chris walks in the door after a long day at school. He cooks dinner every night and folds the laundry most of the time (I know, I'm a miserable excuse for a wife...) Fox is going to grow up to be a smart and knowledgable guy because of Chris.
Happy first Father's Day Chris!
Edited to add: Guess what Fox decided to give his daddy the dentist for Father's Day? His very first tooth! How funny/serendipitous/miraculous!
Finally! He really HAS been a grumpster lately for a reason! I felt his tooth for the first time today in Relief Society when I stuck my finger in his mouth to soothe him. Surprise surprise!
It ain't easy getting a picture of this milestone... but I promise no babies were harmed in the process of getting 'em!
And happy 26th Father's Day to my own Dald - aka SUPERMAN!
He has many talents, hobbies, attributes, qualities, characteristics, and interests that I admire and try to emulate. He rides his bike to work every day in the state where the sun don't shine and it rains practically every day. Recently he won a little hack-a-thon contest at work to see who could make the coolest gizmo to run on a little prototype CPU board (whatever that means!) My dad built a laser that writes incoming text messages on the ceiling. Like so:
Love you Dald!
