Awesome Guy Layout for Paige's Pages 16

Here is the first layout from Paige's Pages 16 at Big Picture Classes!
I've made lots of layouts using this same technique before, but never in this exact way. No need to reinvent the wheel every time, choose a technique and evolve it using large chevrons, smaller ones, different colors, different colors, etc. I placed the papers in rainbow order but I’ve also done a version with the colors in random order – both are awesome! Go in whatever direction you’re drawn to!
A couple tips: by distressing the edges of each triangle more texture is created and it helps separate the papers so you can appreciate how the layout is paper pieced together. And, don’t worry about making everything perfectly straight – ain’t nobody got time for that! I used a ruler initially to measure the horizontal lines for placing the triangles but then I placed them just a little crooked to give more interest to the layout. Embrace the imperfections, we’re only human afterall!
I only used about 6 products on this page: three patterned papers, a few bits from a pack of Journaling Spots, an image from pack of Rub-OnsChipboard Thickers for the title, and then other items you most likely have in your stash like a pencil, adhesive, and a roller stamp. That’s it!
Find the start-to-finish process video and more tips & tricks over in Lesson 1 of Paige's Pages 16 at Big Picture Classes! :)
