Hi crafty friends! Lisa Fonseca here today sharing a new layout using Paige's Crab Cut File as well as her Hibiscus Cut File and Splendid collection!
I backed the cut files with different patterned papers from Splendid, using mainly reds/oranges/pinks and blues/purples. To back the cut file I didn't adhere the pieces to the Crab directly, but adhered them to the background and put the Crab on top, just putting some glue in a few places to make him less flat and create dimension. I did the same thing for the Hibiscus and to add even more texture and dimension, I adhered some of the flowers with foam squares and also added Floral Die Cuts. I put tangled thread behind three flowers and embellished with a Flower Charm, Buttons, Heart Paper Clip, and the title made with the gold mini foam Thickers as well as the Thickers from Truly Grateful. After adding more details and embellishments, I went in and did mixed media with watercolors.
