It's Take Me Away week on the Pink Paislee blog! I'm so excited for this week, I wonder why :) :) :) Here is the layout I made:
YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE by Paige Evans
DESCRIPTION: I wanted to include a bit of everything! Patterned paper, buttons, foil Thickers, patterned letter Thickers, the roller stamp, wood veneer, suede bows, chipboard stickers, paper clips - THE WORKS! I love the rainbow of colors, the textures, and how elements all work so well together in this new collection and I can't wait to use it more and more!
JOURNALING SAYS: Hello Little Miss Sassafras! Striking poses left and right without even being told or shown. You are just too adorable. I can't get enough! Love you, Mom.
HOW TO: In order to be able to keep the layout organized I divided it into a 3x3 grid made with stitching. Once the stitching was finished (I used 8 different colors of thread to match the colors in Take Me Away) I filled each section, first starting with five small, square photos. Jane can be such a ham! I love her so. To help draw the focus into the middle I framed the center photo with a floral chipboard frame. Then I just had fun fussy cutting, gluing, and embellishing!
