Floral Love Layout by Anita Bownds

Saturday, June 13, 2020

Hi crafty friends, Anita Bownds here with you today sharing a spring layout using the beautiful Bloom Street collection and a couple of Paige's cut files. I just love pink roses - they are my favorite flower and I can’t not take photos of them!
For my layout today I’ve used Paige's Flower cut file and cut it out a few times in two sizes from white cardstock and backed them with paper from the 12x12 Paper Pad. Then I cut the Triangle Confetti Background cut file on white cardstock to mat on Paper 10. I love the way the paper changes colors in the triangles and the same around the border.
I matted my photo on paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad and Ephemera Die Cuts to add color and dimension then adhered it down. I added my title using the Floral Foam Thickers and Puffy Word Stickers. Then I started adding the the cut file flowers, tucking them behind and on the corner of my photo. I also cut one flower in half to place at the top and bottom of my layout to add more color and interest.
Then I tucked Floral Die Cuts behind all the cut file flowers and around the layout along with a few fussy cut flowers to match the colors. To finish off the layout I added two butterflies from the Ephemera Die Cuts and a mini bow to the middle of my flower on the corner of my photo with an Enamel Dot on top.
I hope you have enjoyed my Bloom Street inspiration today! Crafty hugs!
