Wonderful Wales Layout by Adam Westwood

Hi! Welcome back to Paige Evans' blog! ScrappyAdam back to share my first layout using Paige's new collection, Wonders. I must say, I absolutely love this collection! The colours are phenomenal and so bold, and the embellishment range is stunning. I've also used the Mandala cut file for this page as this collection has lots of mandala style patterns which I was really drawn to.

I started with Paper 23 which I used to cut the Mandala as I wanted the cut file to really pop. I didn't back the cut file on this one - I don't do this very often at all but I really wanted the cut file to shine on its own and pop off the background. I chose Paper 6 for my background - this is one of my favourite papers; it is stunningly beautiful and the colour is incredible! I wanted to bring in another colour so I decided to mat the whole page on a gutted sheet of Paper 21 which has the same ombre, bold colour effect as the blue but in pinks. You really need to check out the colour on these papers. I chose my photos and double matted them on an angle on two papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad - one of which is that awesome pink and gold foil grid. I adhered the cut file and popped my photos centrally but to the right slightly and added a blue mandala from the cut apart Paper 24. I also fussy cut the whole sheet of Paper 19 and used a selection of colours to make part of my title - "Wonderful" - and added "Wales" with the Thickers from this collection which have a gold foil and are amazing!

It was then a case of embellishing - which I love to do! I used lots of the embellishments from this collection - I like them all. I used the Chipboard Stickers6x12 Cardstock StickersEphemera Die CutsFloral Die CutsPuffy StickersLolliesBanner Stickers, and Puffy Phrase Stickers. I also fussy cut some butterflies from Paper 8.

That was the layout done! I hope you like the finished page which was quite simple and quick for me but I love the result all the same. Thank you for taking the time to have a read and do check out all the other awesome posts here on Paige's blog! You can find this cut file in Paige's Etsy shop and if you're in the UK or EU then you can get this cut file pre-cut and sent to you via The Cut Hut UK from June so do take a look over there. I'll see you back here very soon with more inspiration and in the meantime, you can follow me on Instagram should you wish!
