Hi friends! Heidi Lewis here on the blog today sharing a cozy layout made with Garden Shoppe along with Paige's Sunburst Cut File. Like many of my layouts, my concept for this page was inspired by an illustration.
The title in the illustration inspired me to use the Sunburst Cut File to document a photo of my kitty basking in the sun with one eye open. I chose blue sky textured cardstock for my background and sand colored card stock for the cut file to match the color scheme in the illustration.
I backed the Sunburst Cut File with Paper 15. To help my photo stand out, I embellished it with Ephemera Die Cuts and Cardstock Stickers. I made the title with the gold foam mini Thickers from Splendid. I included a little pie ephemera because my kitty is a cutie pie. I also added some homey sentiment stickers from the 8-Page Sticker Book because they fit the theme of my layout. My kitty loves to play with string, so it seemed fitting to add a few thread tangles to the layout. A couple of button stickers and a ball of yarn finished off the page. I think having some circular embellishments to match the sunburst creates a cohesive look.
This layout was quick and easy to create and I hope it inspires you to use Paige's Garden Shoppe collection and cut files!
