Smile Layout by Paige Evans

Here is one of the layouts I taught how to make for the Rainbow Start virtual event for Brazil!
First I hand stitched clouds on the background with light blue thread. Then I printed the digital collection and backed one of my umbrella cut files with the pretty papers. I added the umbrella upside down so it could  collect fussy cut flowers and photos :) To finish I added clusters of embellishments and journaling written on a tag. It was so fun to gather together with scrappy friends from afar and celebrate our love of pretty papers!

Grateful Layout by Monique Lowe

Thursday, May 29, 2025

Hi creative friends! Monique Lowe here and I’m so excited to share my very first layout with Paige’s Happy Haven collection because honestly, it’s just about the prettiest thing I’ve ever played with! And of course, there’s my special little fur baby front and center!
I started with a sheet of 12x12 mixed-media cardstock. To give the page some structure, I divided it horizontally into two halves. On the top half, I grabbed my favorite sun-ray stencil and layered it up with Shimmerz sprays, resulting in a glimmery, warm sunburst. For the bottom half, I painted with Shimmerz sprays straight from the nozzle, mixing a bright green for a loose watercolor look and left it to dry. Next, I tore a long strip of Paper 9 then adhered it right across the seam of my mixed media halves. I tore a matching strip from the reverse side of the same paper and layered it behind – just a tiny border showing to echo the pattern underneath. I backed three photos of my pup with the same patterned paper, then clustered them across my center strip. Next came my favorite bit – Floral Die Cuts in every color of the rainbow! I stitched seed beads onto each flower center then nestled the sprigs around and between my photos so it truly feels like my fur baby is wandering through a meadow of blooms. I added in a hand stitched Die Cut banner sentiment as well as a large Foam Sticker for my title. To finish off my page, I popped on three adorable bee and ladybird Cardstock Stickers, popped up on foam squares. I arranged them in a loose triangle, helping to guide your eye back to the photos. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope my layout inspires you to grab Happy Haven and create something that makes your heart happy too!

Hadden Hall Layout by Jackie Ashton

Tuesday, May 27, 2025

Hey friends! Jackie Ashton here today sharing a layout using the lovely Adventurous collection.
Do you ever pick a few colors for your layout and start with that? I did with this layout choosing blues and greens from Adventurous. As I chose to use mainly blue and green, the perfect pattern was Paper 24 which I used for my background. Tearing along the bottom edge of the patterned paper, adding the two pieces back together, showing both sides of the patterned paper worked perfectly for my background. I backed my photos onto Paper 18, leaving a small border around the edges and added foam to the back to give my photo added dimension. For the cluster of embellishments on the top right, I fussy cuts some of the tickets and labels from the 6x8 Paper Pad, the 12x12 version of the paper I used is Paper 21. I added my journaling to one of labels cut from the sheet. For the title I used the lovely Mini Thickers, adding a few stickers from the Sticker Book and Cardstock Stickers around the page. I also tucked in a few Floral Die Cuts around the page. I love how this layout turned out, why not give it a try yourself? Just choose 2 or 3 colors and see how it goes!

Happy Haven Layout by Inessa Persekian

Monday, May 26, 2025

Hey friends! Inessa Persekian here and I'm so excited to share my very first layout using the absolutely gorgeous Happy Haven collection and I have to say, I’m obsessed with how it turned out!
To kick things off, I started with Paper 2. This one is so pretty, I just had to use both sides! I carefully trimmed out the center using my trimmer then fussy cut around the scalloped square to use as a decorative frame. For my base, I trimmed a 12x12 piece of white cardstock down to 11x11", then machine-stitched it right onto the patterned paper background for a clean and dimensional look. Once my background was ready, I adhered the scalloped square slightly off-center about 1.5" from the left and just slightly shifted vertically for that casual, layered feel. I added a 4x6" photo then went straight into embellishing mode using Floral Die Cuts. I built a vertical floral cascade along the right side of the photo, starting with the largest flowers first, then layering in smaller blooms, leaves, and other bits and pieces. My title, “Cherish Your People,” comes from the 12x12 sticker sheet in the Project Pad and I added the "Remember This" Foam Sticker along with a sweet little banner from the Journaling Die Cuts. Since everything felt a little right-heavy, I created a smaller floral cluster on the left side to balance it out. Then came the finishing touches: a sprinkling of Mini Puffy Stickers, a few of the gold Foam Sticker buttons, gold ink splatters, and tucked-in strands of gold thread near the larger florals for some extra texture. I love how soft, dimensional, and warm this page turned out and I hope it inspires you to grab Happy Haven and just play. Have a beautiful, crafty day!

Stitched Rainbows Page by Paige Evans

Sunday, May 25, 2025

Here is one of my favorite pages from my newest album featuring hand stitched rainbows!
I had my Cricut cut out the Rainbows for Stitching from this sunshine yellow striped paper and then got to stitching! I did a backstitch with white thread for all the clouds and a chain stitch with 8 different colors of DMC embroidery thread through all the stripes and I made each rainbow a different colorway. It took about 8 hours to complete all the stitching - worth every second to me! Since the first page of my album is a see-through transparency, you get a glimpse of this page right from the get-go and it makes a big impact!

To be on the waitlist for a Rainbow Sequin Album, please send me an email at paigetaylorevans@gmail.com or leave a comment below. The purchase of the album will include access to my virtual class along with the digital cut files & templates needed for filling the album. The cost of the Rainbow Sequin Album & Class will be $80 plus $9 shipping within the USA.

I'll start working on my next kit & class very soon!!

Camera Layout by Audrey Mutschall

Thursday, May 22, 2025

Hello friends! Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige’s Camera cut file and her classic Turn the Page collection. This collection is still available to purchase digitally, which is a great option because you can print as many flowers and ephemera elements as you’d like!
I started by cutting the Camera from white cardstock and backing it with a variety of patterned papers from Turn the Page. I placed the camera on the left side of the layout, added my photo beside it, and then got to work embellishing. I fussy cut lots of flowers and doubled some of them up to create extra dimension. I added speech bubble sentiments around the layout as well as fussy cut birds and butterflies. Lastly, I added hand stitching and a tassel made from embroidery floss! Thanks for stopping by today!

Lovely Beautiful Life Layout by Ashley Neu

Wednesday, May 21, 2025

Hi friends! It’s Ashley Neu here for the Paige Evans Design Team and I am beyond excited to share the first layout that I’ve created with Paige’s Happy Haven collection which is breathtakingly beautiful!
One of my favorite things included in this collection is the Washi Tape. I had this idea to create a horizontal design to really show off these gorgeous washi tapes against a piece of white cardstock. I think it almost looks like it could be a premade patterned paper, don’t you agree?! After adhering my 4x6” photo, I started to design the title. The 12x12 Project Pad has 2 sheets of stickers which includes icons, phrases, alpha stickers, and more! I found the word “lovely” in that project pad and added it with foam adhesive under the photo. I also grabbed the “beautiful life” sticker from the Cardstock Stickers. The Floral Die Cuts in this collection are absolutely gorgeous so of course I needed to add a couple of clusters to this layout. I finished it off by adding a butterfly, a ladybug, and a birdie! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have been able to get your hands on Happy Haven! It’s amazing!!

Cut File with 5+ Patterned Papers Layout by Valerie Bisson

Tuesday, May 20, 2025

Hi crafty friends! It’s Valerie Bisson here sharing the layout I created for International Scrapbook Day 2025 in Paige's Happy Scrappy Place Facebook Group! My challenge was to choose one of Paige’s Cut Files and use 5 or more patterned papers. My layout features Paige's Geometric Cat Cut File and her Bungalow LaneAdventurous, and Pick-Me-Up collections.
To begin I cut the Geometric Cat from white cardstock. This cut file went perfect for the vintage & quilty vibe I was looking to create. Then I chose 10 patterned papers from Bungalow Lane and 2 from Adventurous to back the cut file. For the background, I layered up two pieces of cardstock and Paper 19 from Bungalow Lane, then did a round of hand stitching in light pink to enhance the framing. Next I placed the cut file central on the page and my 3 photos around it. For embellishments I made whimsical patterned paper cats using a Tim Holtz die set with Sizzix. I added punched out scalloped circles to layer underneath my cat embellishments. Following this I splattered white acrylic paint next to each of my photos. Embellishing includes Washi Tape from Adventurous and pieces from Bungalow Lane as well as Pick-Me-Up. Lastly, I made photo corners with the WeR Makers Photo Corner Punch which helps to finish off each cluster. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you're inspired to choose one of Paige’s Cut Files and use 5 or more patterned papers on a new layout!
