November 2014 Studio Calico kits called WALDEN (including the main WALDEN kit and add ons: CONCORD, PINE HILL, and BAKER BRIDGE) are almost here - hooray! I don't know how they keep doing it, but month after month I am so inspired by the colors and supplies, I made 6 layouts (one is coming in a start-to-finish video on the 30th!). Here are my sneaks (in the order in which I made them) to enable you :)
BIRTHDAY GIRL - For my first WALDEN main kit only layout I used my Silhouette CAMEO and the background cut file I designed for November and a bit of paper piecing with some stitching.

HAPPY DAY - My other WALDEN main kit only layout also was made with the help of my Silhouette CAMEO and backed the shape (it's a digital stamp brush-turned cut file) with patterned papers. You know the drill :)

ALL OVER THE WORLD - I wanted to feature the Amy Tangerine stitching kit in the CONCORD add on and spent a morning hand stitching this large title.

FREE AS A BIRD - I also designed some feather die cuts for November and had fun die cutting them (again with my trusty Silhouette CAMEO!) from patterned papers in all of the WALDEN kits: WALDEN, CONCORD, PINE HILL, and BAKER BRIDGE.

DETAILS - This layout was Operation: Use all of the Maggie Holmes Open Book Ephemera Die Cuts in the CONCORD add on! I couldn't pick just one, I wanted to feature every single piece! Well, I skipped a few of the large black ones, but you get the gist :)

WITH YOU - I have a start-to-finish video coming out on Thursday the 30th featuring paper scraps - my favorite :) I used bits and pieces from all of the WALDEN kits: WALDEN, CONCORD, PINE HILL, and BAKER BRIDGE.
