Hi scrappy friends! Here is a new layout I made with BooVille featuring my Bat Border from the 13 Halloween Cut Files Bundle!
I started with a purple textured cardstock background and did a bit of mixed media including swiping a layer of white gesso in the shape of the Bat Border from the top left to the bottom right corners. Then I used the packaging technique to press gray watercolors over the gesso. As a final layer I splattered black watercolors and white acrylic paint on top. I cut the Bat Border from dark gray cardstock and backed the bats with patterned papers from the 12x12 Paper Pack as well as the 6x6 Paper Pad. I popped the bats off the background with foam squares for dimension & shadows and then tucked two 3x4" photos into the top.
To embellish I placed three pennant Cardstock Stickers on the top right corner and sprinkled colorful star Puffy Stickers, star Enamel Shapes, and silver Enamel Dots in between the bats. I wrote journaling on a tag and made the title "batty for you" with the Title Puffy Stickers. I had so much fun making this layout and am a sucker for all things Halloween :) Thanks for stopping by and have a happy scrappy weekend!
