Butterfly Card for Spellbinders

Wednesday, July 10, 2019

Spellbinders sent me the Flora & Fauna Cut & Emboss Folder and the Floral Splash Cut & Emboss Folder and here is a card I created using them!
I started by cutting/embossing the Floral Splash folder from smooth white cardstock a few times (I needed lots for experimentation!). I cut the design into four sections and pieced them onto a smooth white cardstock card base.

I used white thread in my sewing machine to stitch a line between the sections for more texture. Then I cut/embossed the Flora & Fauna folder a couple times also from smooth white cardstock and fussy cut six butterflies.

I fussy cut five flowers from the leftover panels and glued all the pieces into place. For some sparkle & shine I topped the butterflies with clear sequins. To finish I typed "thanks for all that you do." on my typewriter, cut it into pieces, and tucked the words under the heart sequins on each butterfly.
Be sure to check out the Flora & Fauna Cut & Emboss Folder and the Floral Splash Cut & Emboss Folder from Spellbinders!
