The One with Looking Forward To in 1 Second - 10 Years

What I'm looking forward to in:

1 minute: Publishing this post!
1 hour: Dinner, bath, and bedtime which means Mommy & Daddy time then watching Fringe (totally awesome show IMHO).
1 day: Working at a bat mitzvah! These never (ever!) get old. Pics to come :)
1 week: A morning "Boo at the Zoo", our ward "trunk-or-treat" at night, and then Halloween a few days later!
1 month: Going to Washington for an entire week to keep my dad company and take care of the rowdy dog while my mom is with her parents in Panama.
1 year: Finding out where we'll be living the next four years with the army. Keeping busy with a terrible two year old. Hopefully still a SAHWM (stay-at-home-working-mom).
10 years: Established in a home of our very own. A back yard. A scrap room. 4 or 5 kids (there, I said it, that's how many kids we want eventually!). A few dogs, a couple cats, maybe a pygmy goat or something'. Loving life.

  2. Okay, I'll play! 1 second: Re-doing my messy ponytail. 1 minute: calling my sister. 1 hour: Ben coming home and watching How I Met Your Mother. 1 day: Having moved all the furniture into our new apartment (in Los Alamitos). 1 week: Doing a girl's night out! 1 Month: getting bar results, celebrating Thanksgiving and making my mom's version (Ben's favorite) of banana pie and packing for Guatemala for a temple dedication and family reunion. 1 year: Hopefully enjoying a pregnancy and Ben's awesome new job. 10 years: Enjoying raising kids, buying a house in a nice neighborhood. Still exercising and still sewing. Oh, a sewing room would be heaven!

  8. What a wonderful way to post what you're looking forward to! And your mention of moving with the army made me smile. we just moved to RI with my husband (Navy) and if you had asked me last year, i would have never guessed he would still be active duty! i'm looking forward to unpacking all of my boxes and crafting again!
