Summer Fun Layout by Steffi Ried

I love how I'm always so pleasantly surprised by the design team girls! I give them an assignment and then they knock my socks off with their creativity! This week it's all about punches and Stefanie Ried of course created something amazing!
Hello there! On this layout I did a lot of punching. Mainly circles, hearts, and stars of different sizes. And then a few butterflies and flowers. This is a layout with lots of colors and different techniques. It was a lot of fun to play with all my punches again! I should use them more often.
It has been a long time since I created a 12x12 layout! In the beginning it was very fun, and also a challenge. The title is the central point and then I created a frame with colorful papers, embossed elements, and embellishments.
Since I wanted to use my watercolors again, I applied some color on white paper strips with a water tank brush. Then I cut these papers into small pieces and punched them out.
I also used a confetti punch. This is my favorite. I often use it for making confetti bags. This time I made the confetti out of patterned paper and then added the dots with liquid glue.
The central point is a circle containing the title and the journaling. I used the great Mirror Stickers from the Take Me Away collection. I have been wanting to use them for a long time and now I finally got to!
I hope you enjoyed my contribution today and until next time!

Most of my punches are in a box, in a crate, on a boat, somewhere over the Atlantic. I can't wait to be reunited with them and start punching happily away again!
