Embellished Shaker Envelope by Lilly Sanchez

Saturday, January 18, 2020

Hey guys, Lilly Sanchez here, I hope everyone is having a great start to 2020. Today I bring you guys a fun project that I hope you enjoy.
One of my favorite crafty ideas is embellishing stuff, whether that be a card, tag, or in this case an envelope. I just feel like it adds so much character and detail than just a plain ol’ envelope in pretty paper. I feel like when something is embellished you can almost feel the love put into it. Today I played around with Paige’s Envelope cut file. To create the envelope I used Paper 13 from Truly Grateful for the actual envelope and a piece of Paper 07 for layering purposes. I of course had to do some stitching as you guys know I love doing that to my projects. I made a shaker with tulle on the top flap because who doesn’t like a good shaker?!

Then I began to decorate the envelope using many pieces from the Truly Grateful collection such as the Ephemera Die CutsPuffy StickersCardstock Stickers, and Floral Die Cuts. And that is it you guys! Super easy and quick project that you can literally create in minutes and fill with tons of goodies for a penpal swap!

Thanks for stopping by, until next time, stay crafty!
