Hello Sunshine Layout with New JoAnn Stamps

Wednesday, April 1, 2020

I have a new layout to share featuring my two brand new stamp sets available at JoAnn! Each set comes with 7 cute wooden rubber stamps and 3 different colored ink pad squares.
Here are the two stamp sets:
Here is a process video to show you how this page came together:
I started by die cutting 14 concentric circles from smooth white cardstock - 14 circles for 14 stamps. I figured out which stamp on want on which circle and then repeatedly stamped each design across each circle using the ink pads. To add texture and definition I machine stitched around the edge of each circle with white thread.
On a white textured cardstock background I splashed watered down white acrylic paint and coordinating watercolors and sped up the drying process with a hair dryer. I layered the pattern stamped circles across the background along with three round circles of Chris & Jane and took a photo once I liked the placement.
I adhered all of the circles and photos with foam squares for depth, dimension, and shadows to literally pop them off the page. I added Bloom Street white glitter enamel dots around the edges and placed sequins in clusters of three on some of the circles.
To finish I wrote journaling with an aqua pen on one of the circles and called the layout done! I hope you are inspired to pick up my new stamp sets at JoAnn stores!

  2. This is so beachie and nostalgic to me. How lovely are the ink colours in the stamp sets! The circles remind me of Indian block print cottons but with a hip update with the colours. How do you get the stamped images spaces so well with a wood block stamp? <3 xK
