Bloom Layout

Sunday, May 10, 2020

Hey friends! I have a new layout to share with you today featuring my Bloom Street collection, particularly the Scrapbook.com exclusive Ephemera Die Cuts & Stickers, and my Wildflowers Bunch cut file!
I started by pulling the three B-side watercolor papers in Bloom StreetPaper 02Paper 10, and Paper 22. You can find a pretty pastel rainbow of colors across these three papers and I was excited to use them because I LOVE rainbows and lots of colors!
I then cut my Wildflowers Bunch cut file from all three papers. I shrunk the cut file down and filled a new Studio document with six bunches. On a piece of plain white textured cardstock, I traced a round coaster (anything small and round will do) with a pencil on the bottom right corner.
Then I started gluing the flowers around the circle, but not the entire circle, mostly around the bottom left to top right side. I layered and layered and layered the flowers to create a lovely wreath design in pastel rainbow order. I only added liquid glue to the very bottoms of the flowers so the rest of the flowers could lift off the page and create tons of dimension and shadows and give the page life.
I printed a photo of sweet Jane at home on my Canon Pro-100 with Canon photo paper and trimmed it out leaving a white border for contrast. From the Scrapbook.com exclusive Ephemera Die Cuts I pulled a few tags and a journaling spot and tucked them underneath the photo. From the Scrapbook.com Stickers I grabbed the blue "bloom" sentiment and added it to the bottom of the photo as well as a butterfly on the left and a flower on the right.
To finish I wrote journaling with a blue pen on the tag tucked under the photo. Easy peasy! I hope you are inspired to pick up my Bloom Street collection, the Scrapbook.com exclusive Ephemera Die Cuts & Stickers, and my Wildflowers Bunch cut file! Thanks so much!
