Hello friends, it’s Kelly Daye here with a post Valentine layout idea for your near and dear. My layout features Paige’s XOXO Background Cut File and her Garden Shoppe collection.
I used the Knife Tool in the Silhouette Design Studio to cut horizontally across the cut file then I cut it out of white cardstock and laid it over Paper 20. I love how the garden roses peek through. I also cut out a few X’s and O’s from Paper 5 and Paper 17 to sprinkle around the layout. Some are popped up with foam tape and some are stitched around with thread. Floral Die Cuts, Enamel Button Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, and the floral part of the Layered Stickers surround photos of my honey. I think I might be one of the bumble bees zooming in for some love, they’re from the 8-Page Sticker Book. Three foiled hearts from the Foam Phrase Stickers and three Butterfly Stickers add interest to the background. Finally, I splashed on some watercolor paints from Prima’s Pastel Dreams palette, speckled with gold metallic paint and gold Stickles.
