Continuing with this perpetual project, I present my 3 MemoryDex cards using Garden Shoppe!
I purchased this mint wooden tray three years ago and am filling it with cards made with all of my American Crafts scrapbook collections: Go the Scenic Route, Wonders, Bungalow Lane, Splendid, and now Garden Shoppe!
This is a continuation of my Pink Paislee MemoryDex (click on that link to see them ALL!) which coincidentally filled up completely with my last collection under the Pink Paislee brand, Bloom Street.
For the first Garden Shoppe MemoryDex card I trimmed a piece of the floral Paper 2 and embroidered it! I pierced holes around the flowers and leaves and then stitched with coordinating colors of floss using a combination of a chain link stitch, back stitch, and French knots. I didn't want to cover hardly any of the stitching so I added a "beautiful" Cardstock Sticker and called it good!
For the second card I trimmed a round piece of the yellow Paper 15, machine stitched circles with white thread around and around, then topped the stitching with tiny fussy cut leaves from Paper 14 using foam squares for dimension. I added a wreath Layered Sticker to the center and placed the logo for Garden Shoppe in the center. I topped a few of the leaves with matching Enamel Button Stickers. I made the base for the card using the floral Paper 20.
For the third card I cut an envelope from the leafy Paper 6 and embellished the front with a Foam Phrase Sticker, Cardstock Sticker, Layered Sticker, and label from the 8-Page Sticker Book.
I filled the enveloped with Ephemera Die Cuts, tags from Paper 13, and a tag made from the Floral Transparency. I added mini photos telling the story of Garden Shoppe then tucked everything into the envelope.
I've added these 3 cards into my MemoryDex tray and it sits on top of a cabinet in my happy scrappy place!
