Happy Easter friends! Kelly Daye here and I’ve put all my eggs in one basket. This sweet Easter Basket Cut File by Paige is perfect for spring! I pulled out a few pastel papers from Blooming Wild and Garden Shoppe to paper-back the entire basket. For me, Easter just had to be a rainbow of pastels!
I made today's layout for my lovely friend Anna. She’s 13, crazy for Taylor Swift, and her oh-so-sweet dog Maggie. And I’m crazy for her! Why not mash it all together for a pretty layout? 'It’s a love story, baby just say yes'. Both the Bunny Background and Delicate Scalloped Frame are free at my blog. The Bunny Background was cut from white cardstock, backed with Blooming Wild Paper 18, then stitched with 4 strands of DMC floss, tone-on-tone. The Delicate Scalloped Frame added the girly vibe I was looking for. It’s also cut from Paper 18. I added more tone-on-tone chain stitching around the frame. I added part of my title on a journaling tag from the Sticker Book, with puffy letters from the Wonders Epoxy Phrase Stickers, then added it to the bow. A small floral cluster made with Floral Die Cuts seemed just right. I topped it with more small blooms, fussy-cut from Paper 12. A French knot holds sequins atop each flower. A few mini flowers from the Puffy Phrase Stickers were sprinkled around.
