Hello scrappy friends! Phil Donahue back on Paige's blog celebrating three years as a design team member for Paige with this happy, scrappy layout! For this project, I used Paige's Snap & Scrap cut file along with her colorful Splendid collection to showcase a screenshot of her design team announcement from March 2022! This layout features quite a few techniques I've learned through the years and here's how I made it:
To begin, I cut the Snap & Scrap title from white cardstock and backed it with colorful paper scraps from Splendid. Some shapes were backed with silver and pink foil paper and I backed the spool with actual thread to create more texture on the layout. I turned the glue bottle into a shaker element with adhesive foam strips, acetate, and silver sequins. I backed the whole piece with three layers of concentric shapes to create a halo effect around the title using vellum, a striped rainbow paper, and a tone-on-tone yellow patterned paper. For the composition of the layout, I turned to a layout I made last year for the Scrapbooks & Cards Today Magazine blog and scrap-lifted myself! After adding strips of colorful paper to the notebook cardstock, I adhered the photo and layered cut file to the page. Lastly, I embellished the layout with florals and items matching the scrapbook theme around the page and finished with sprinkles of colorful enamel dots. I hope you found some inspiration in this layout and choose to try Paige's Snap & Scrap cut file and pair it with one of her amazing collections to highlight your own crafty journey! Thanks for stopping by and have a scrappy day!
