Hi creative friends! Monique Lowe here with a bright, new layout to share! I had so much fun diving into Paige’s brand new Legendary collection with Pinkfresh Studio - it’s bold, vibrant, and full of possibilities!
For this layout, I wanted to play with movement, color, and contrast and the Legendary collection had everything I needed to make that happen. To kick things off, I cut Paige's Arrows Background cut file from white cardstock. I backed four of the six arrows using patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad, choosing a rainbow sequence to guide the rest of my design. Inspired by those colors, I swiped coordinating Mini Distress Ink Pads across a sheet of mixed media cardstock and layered the cut file on top to create a tone-on-tone effect. With the background in place, I added my four photos vertically down the page. Each one backed with a coordinating piece of patterned paper, echoing the rainbow theme and helping each photo pop. To draw the eye even more, I layered in raised arrows cut from a bold black leaf patterned paper (also from the 6x8 Paper Pad) to point towards the photos and add a fun contrast against all the fun color. Then came the embellishing fun! I followed the rainbow flow, adding tone-on-tone embellishments along the photo line. I mixed and matched Ephemera Die Cuts, Cardstock Stickers, Chipboard Phrase Stickers, and Puffy Stickers, creating little moments of texture and interest throughout the page. To finish it off, I added black paint splatters for a touch of grunge and tucked in clusters of Enamel Dots. For the final flourish, a fun title using the Puffy Alpha Stickers.
