Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here and I’m so happy to be back sharing a new scrapbook page with you featuring Paige’s Love Heart Stitching Cut File and her Lovely Lane collection.
I started by choosing the Brave Heart Paper to cut out the Love Heart Stitching Cut File. I also decided to cut out the center of the heart for added interest and a place to tuck my photos. I hand stitched the design in a chain link stitch for bold impact to stand out from the pretty patterned paper then simply placed it on white cardstock. Of course after sticking it down I had the idea to add texture paste to the white cardstock, so I carefully lifted up the stitched cut file and was able to add it. I also got out some white acrylic paint, watered it down, and splattered it with a small paint brush in three spots around the heart. Next I added a title to the lower right corner with the Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers. Lastly I incorporated a few embellishments including pieces from the Floral Die Cuts, Layered Stickers, Chipboard Stickers, Enamel Dots, and a sentiment from the Cardstock Stickers.
