Raise your hand if you love a mini. Raise both hands if you love a mini album cut file!!!

Hey guys! Jamie Pate here with just that. A mini album AND a mini album cut file. Paige's Mini Album Card with Tags cut file to be exact. I have been hanging on to this cut file for a little bit now and thought it would be the right time to bring the new Truly Grateful into the mix.

For this version of the Mini Album Card with Tags cut file I created a sleeve to slide over the mini album to keep it closed and secure. Inside, as you can see, are spaces for four tags. However, one could add several tags to the pockets. I chose to stick with the four, adding photos and embellishments to each tag.

After bringing the cut file into the Silhouette software, I enlarged the entire file so the main part of the book would fit almost up to the 12-inch width of the white cardstock. The tags were then cut in various pink patterns from Truly Grateful.

Three of the tags hold photos plus a few embellishments and more patterned paper.

Then the pockets themselves were adorned with Floral Die Cuts and tags plus Epoxy Stickers. The pink is so gorgeous and brilliant. I adore how it pops against the white of the cardstock. Not to mention the novel way to hold this super mini album of just a few photos to tell this story.

The last tag holds a larger photo on the back. I purposely kept the front of the tag pretty clean as I really wanted the message of this circle embellishment to stand out: Be A Light! This little round tag could have been a hoarding problem for sure. But I chose instead to give it home in this book of my girl and a few of her prom photos. The sleeve was crafted of more patterned paper. I made a tag and embellished it similar to the pockets inside with Floral Die Cuts and sentiments plus a label from my stash.

This Mini Album Card with Tags cut file lends itself to lots of crafty ideas. Used here it holds just a few photos and memories. It could be crafted as a full on greeting card full of sentiment and love. It could also serve simply as a creative exercise placing all the embellishments here and there and just having fun. However you find to use this cut file, be sure to grab it for your stash, as it will be one you return to again and again.
