Thankful Blessed Grateful Art Spread by Paula Fiihr

Happy fall! Paula Fiihr here with an art journal spread to share today. Working in my 8.5x11 journal, I put together this fun page using Paige's Thankful Blessed Grateful cut file.

I cut it on white cardstock and glued it to the Paper 24 from Go the Scenic Route. The background is Distress Crayons and modeling paste over Paige’s Polka Dots Stencil. I swiped a few spots with acrylic paint as well. Then I cut several sizes of leaves using Paige's Large Leaf cut file on brown cardstock, Paper 24, and the yellow polka dot paper from the 12x12 Paper Pad. The different sizes and papers add fun layers throughout the page. A couple burlap leaves from my stash made it on there as well. For the letters, I traced the Blessed onto the same brown cardstock and then again on the yellow paper slightly smaller. To finish, I tucked this cute bird, a ticket, and a tag from the Ephemera Die Cuts behind the sentiment. A sprinkle of hearts from the Chipboard Stickers add dimension around the words. It’s hard for me to make any layout or project without a bit of black, so I added some black ink and stitching stamps around the edges.
