Hello everyone! Marinette M'Boussi here today to share with you my new colorful layout. This time I used the beautiful Wonders collection, Paige’s Textures Background Stencil cut file, and Think Happy Thoughts cut file.
I started by cutting the Textures Background Stencil cut file on white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. I only took the square with the flowers to match Paper 22. I applied gesso on a page of white cardstock that I cut to 11" and then applied modeling paste with the stencil. I did a grid shape and alternated the modeling paste with squares from Paper 22. Once it was dry, I chose some Distress Oxides and applied various colors on my squares.
I cut the Think Happy Thoughts cut file on white cardstock and backed it with Paper 16. I took this same paper to frame my entire page. After adding a little bit of stitching, I started embellishing my page. I framed my picture and centered my title and then added pieces from the Floral Die Cuts, Chipboard Stickers, and Cardstock Stickers. To get more dimension I added a few Paper Flowers. As a final touch I added gold paint drops to get a shiny effect.
