iNSD Mixed Media Layout by Jennifer Rambert

Friday, May 13, 2022

Hello everyone! Jennifer Rambert here on Paige's blog today to share with you the project I created for my challenge for International Scrapbook Day in Paige's Happy Scrappy Place Facebook Group!

The challenge I chose was MIXED MEDIA. I used my favorite inks with Paige's new Splendid collection. To begin with I coated white cardstock with clear gesso. Then I made an area at the top and bottom of my page with the inks that I love. I cut out lots of lemons and oranges from Paper 9 which I arranged around the photo from the top of the page all the way down. I made a little cluster at the bottom of the page. I then added a few butterflies here and there that I cut out of Paper 3.

I added a "You" Epoxy Sticker on the photo and "Very Sweet" at the bottom of the page to make my title. I also added raspberries and blackberries as well as Chipboard Stickers here and there. I finished my layout with jewels that I glued everywhere to bring a little shine and I made splashes of white acrylic paint everywhere to harmonize everything. I hope this layout has inspired you in some way! I loved making this fruity page with this tangy background that soon announces the season of cocktails and heat!

Thanks for checking out my iNSD project! Be sure to visit Paige's Happy Scrappy Place Facebook Group for more fun challenges and projects!
