Camping Spread by Ashley Neu

Hello scrappy friends! Ashley Neu back to share my next project for the Paige Evans Cut File Design Team. Both of Paige's Summer bundles are two of my favorites bundles. Wanting to document a camping trip my family took last summer, I grabbed the Camping Scene from the 20 Summer Cut Files. I’m enjoying Paige’s Blooming Wild collection so much so of course I had to use it to create a fun summery layout! In order to include all of the photos that I had printed, I created a double page spread which I always enjoy!
For the left page, I started by backing the cut file using the 12x12 Paper Pad to create a colorful camping scene. I wanted to use darker colors for the sky to make it look so dreamy! I grabbed Paper 18 to adhere the cut file onto to help keep that vibe.

Using Paper 5, I cut two strips to resemble grass, punching one of the strips with a grass border. I adhered these two strips to the bottom and then tucked my photo in just underneath the grass. The title is simply “camping” made from the Thickers and also tucked under the grass. I added 3 flowers from the Chipboard Stickers to finish off this page.

Next, I worked on the right page which is where the rest of my photos and journaling live. Using (8) 3x4 photos, I created a grid style page. I used (4) 3x4 cut outs from Paper 1 to finish off the grid layout. I added a few embellishments from the Sticker Book, added my journaling strips, and called this double page layout done!

Paige has many bundles available. I hope you check them all out! I also hope that I’ve inspired you to try making a double page layout! Have a wonderful day!
