Hi everyone! Yui Oku here today with a new layout using Paige's Butterfly Background cut file along with her Sugarplum Wishes collection! I paired a very spring-themed design with a Christmas collection and it totally works!
First I cut the Butterfly Background from white cardstock. I wanted to add a feeling of snow because I wanted to match the photo on a snowy day. I used a snow pattern stencil and modeling paste. I don't usually use stencils much, but this was worth it! Then I put the background over Paper 12 which is quilt patterned so you can see many colors peeking through. From the Floral & Snowflake Die Cuts I chose three snowflakes and topped with white tangled thread. The red foil frame behind the photo is a countdown to Christmas calendar from the Ephemera Die Cuts. At the top right of the photo I found the same red foil details on a ribbon bow from the Cardstock Stickers along with a Paper Clip. I placed a few more Cardstock Stickers. I wanted to add something to the top left corner so I removed the snowman charm from a Paper Clip and attached it to the perforated sentiment from the Ephemera Die Cuts along with a pink ribbon bow also from the Ephemera Die Cuts.
