Last Day of Middle School Layout by Paige Evans

Sunday, August 31, 2025

Hello scrappy friends! Here is a layout I made using the Cedar House collection by American Crafts and I scraplifted myself from a past Make With Me Monday layout featuring patterned paper pentagons with a bit of hand stitching.
I chose black & white photos also trimmed into pentagons of Fox from his last day of middle school earlier this year. Now he's in high school. How?!
And of course what's a layout without a bit of stitching? :) I did a chain stitch tone-on-tone through each pentagon to add texture & interest.
You can purchase the class PDF which includes all instructions and templates/cut files needed to make this layout (plus 3 more layouts!) for $10 HERE.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a happy scrappy day!

Passport Mini Album by Rochi Villegas

Saturday, August 30, 2025

Hello crafty friends! Rochi Villegas here today sharing my first Paige Evans Design Team project! I created a passport-style mini album all about my trip to London.
I mixed Paige's beautiful Happy Haven collection with her Adventurous collection and layered in several of Paige's Cut Files. For the cover I used the Passport cut file and added a heart in the center - it felt like the perfect detail to show how much I loved London.
Inside, I used the Big Ben cut file as a tab to frame my photo and highlight that moment.
I added fussy-cut flowers for layering and dimension, sprinkled rhinestones, and added machine stitching to the pages to give the album texture. All these details came together to create a joyful and interactive keepsake of my trip.
My main focus for this project was to incorporate cut files in creative ways while also mixing and matching elements from different collections.
One of my favorite touches is a vellum page printed with a Flower Border and topped with Mini Thickers spelling London - such a delicate and magical detail.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my first design team project! I can’t wait to keep creating and sharing more inspiration with you soon!

Paintbrush Layout by Paige Evans

Friday, August 29, 2025

Here is one of the layouts that I taught how to create at Frank Garcia Studio last weekend using my Lovely Lane collection and you can purchase the class PDF which includes all instructions and templates/cut files needed to make this layout (plus 3 more layouts!) for $10 HERE.
I love having a large element to be the star of the show and capture attention which on this page is the paper pieced paintbrush. Fringe scissors were used to make the "bristles" and then of course a bouquet of flowers spurts out from the paintbrush.

I asked Jane to be my model and she wore one of my Johnny Was shirts and posed in front of a floral painting in Grandma's room. The absolute perfect photos for this page!
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to pick up my Lovely Lane collection and check out the class for this layout HERE!

Hello Sunshine Layout by Nicole Santos

Thursday, August 28, 2025

Hey all! Nicole Santos here today with my first Paige Evans Design Team layout using her fun Scalloped Border Background cut file and Happy Haven collection!
I used all the goodies to document me and my daughter having a fun pool day. I used many of the papers in the Happy Haven collection to back the Scalloped Border Background cut file. I then popped it up on a mixed media paper with foam tape. I added lots of paints behind the cut file. I embellished with elements from the Cardstock StickersFloral Die Cuts, and the Foam Stickers. I finished my layout with black paint splatters and sequins. I hope this layout gives you some crafty inspiration! Until next time!

Quilt Layout by Ali Skifton

Wednesday, August 27, 2025

Hi crafty friends! It’s Ali Skifton here and I’m thrilled to be sharing my very first project as part of the Paige Evans Design Team - what a dream come true! For this layout, I used Paige’s gorgeous Happy Haven collection along with her beautiful Quilt Background cut file.
I found the perfect paper in the 12x12 Project Pad, the one that featured multiple colorful squares. I cut those squares apart then trimmed them down into even smaller triangles to back the Quilt Background. It was like creating a paper patchwork quilt and I had such a fun time mixing and matching all the lovely patterns! To give the layout dimension, I used foam tape to pop the cut file off of a soft blue background, making everything really stand out. To finish off the design, I added a mix of  Floral Die Cuts and other embellishments from Happy Haven. I just love how it turned out - bright, fresh, and full of that “stop and smell the roses” vibe. Thanks so much for stopping by! I can’t wait to share more projects with you soon. Until then, keep creating, keep smiling, and don’t forget to enjoy the little things!

Endless Summer Layout by Valerie Bisson

Tuesday, August 26, 2025

Hello friends! Valerie Bisson here today and I’m so happy to be back to share a new layout with you. It features Paige’s Happy Haven collection and her Endless Summer Cut File. I couldn’t have found a more perfect cut file for my project seeing I was documenting the Beach Boys Endless Summer Gold Tour. Super fun!
I cut the Endless Summer Cut File at 9” from white cardstock and backed it with several different papers from the 12x12 Project Pad and yellow cardstock. For variety I added thin foam adhesive to the the letters and added them on top. To make the cut file stand out I added a black cardstock offset layer and then adhered the cut file to Paper 2 which I had chosen for my background. Following this I hand stitched around the cut file, once in a chain link stitch and a second round in a running stitch. After this I splattered metallic watercolor paint in several colors around the cut file. We can’t forget the all important photos which I placed one peeking through the sun and a second photo on the left of the page. Next I added some of the Mini Thickers from Splendid to extend my title around the cut file. Lastly, I added pieces from the Floral Die Cuts, Journaling Die Cuts, and Cardstock Stickers throughout the layout. I really enjoyed making this page and love the memory. I hope it inspires you!

Blooming Together Layout by Sophie Delorme

Monday, August 25, 2025

Hello friends! It's Sophie Delorme here today with a new layout to share with you that I created with the gorgeous Happy Haven collection!
I wanted to create a little garden scene with embellishments from the collection. I printed my photo in black & white and added foam adhesive behind it. My title comes from the 12x12 Project Pad. I used the beautiful fence from the Foam Stickers and added a few more plants and flowers from the Floral Die Cuts. I also added a few labels from the Journaling Die Cuts and the borders at the bottom of the page are from the Cardstock Stickers. It's very simple, with a lot of white space, so that all the attention is toward that precious photo of my daughter and our dog. I hope that you like this layout and be sure to pick up Paige's Happy Haven collection! Thank you so much for stopping by, until next time!
