July 2025 Highlights

Friday, August 1, 2025

Here we go, this is what we were up to in July 2025!
For the 5th year in a row we went to Wallace, Idaho to celebrate the 4th of July. I wrote a separate recap post HERE.
Before we drove to Wallace we met at my parent's house near Spokane and got family photos taken which turned out beautiful.
My little sister, my little brother, and me. The original 3 Taylor kids.
Grandma & Grandpa with all 8 of their grandkids.
Our little family unit.
Original Taylor Family of 5.
My how we've grown!
The ones who started it all. Love my mom & dad! And they love their dog Gypsy :)
Still thinking about these sweet potato tater tots and mac'n'cheese from The Fainting Goat in Wallace. Soooo scrumptious!
Driving around the neighborhood in my Dad's Jeep. It was a beautiful night.
We finished seasons 1 and 2 of Stranger Things and have started season 3. We'll definitely finish in time for the premier of season 5 on Halloween!
Still doing pretty good with my diet/exercise regime, but it got hard at the end of the month right before everything got cray cray with work.
I hit 4000 pounds!!
I wore this patriotic sequin headband a lot around the 4th of July.
This book was not good lol. Currently reading his last (for now) book, Counting Miracles, which is pretty good so far, a very typical Nicholas Sparks love story.
Flowers this summer.
The hibiscus tree that my sister-in-law Haylie got me for my birthday 3 or 4 years ago is alive and well which is a miracle.
I needed some pics to scrap - Jane to the rescue!
The week we got home from Wallace we flew to Vegas for my niece's baptism. What should have been a quick & easy flight turned into... an adventure? See those dark clouds? The storms that followed grounded planes for hours.
Our incoming flight was diverted to Albuquerque. Our flight kept getting pushed back an hour at a time. We were supposed to leave at like 5pm and didn't end up taking off until 11:30pm. 6 and a half hours delayed. We even tried to bail but they said we couldn't get our bags back for 3-5 days. So we sucked it up, lost some sleep, but finally fell asleep safe and sound in our hotel at 2:30am Denver time. I'm glad we ended up going though!
We flew over some very scary wildfires at the Grand Canyon.
124 degrees?! That's so hot.
Daisy was baptised!
The flower bouquets my sister arranged were the most gorgeous things I've ever seen.
Daisy absolutely loved her scrapbook and we had fun finishing it up together after everyone wrote notes to go inside.
We went shopping at The Crystals, ate good food, and had lots of fun with family. Always a good time in Vegas!
I didn't edit this photo at all except to crop it. Doesn't it just look HOT?!
While we were in Vegas Jane had quite the mishap with a can of Dr. Pepper that exploded when she accidentally dropped it and left the entire kitchen a sticky mess. The whole ordeal was caught on our Ring camera which I have saved and I can't wait to show her when she's older and wiser :)
We went to our 4th Rain City Drive concert!
Before going into the venue we got pizza for dinner across the street which was yummy.
Let the show begin!
RCD is always fun to see live.
Definitely have to print these pics and add them into my wooden cassette mini album.
We watched Scottie Scheffler win his fourth major, The British Open. Only one more major to go before he gets the Grand Slam! He only has the U.S. Open left to win to get it.
Got some Halloween merch from Wild & Refined. Love love love! Yes, we're going to Disneyland again in October. It's tradition!
We celebrated Jane turning 13 a few days before with dinner at a ramen noodle place.
I made her cupcakes, we put in "happy birthday" candles, and she blew them out.
I can't believe we have TWO teenagers now!!
While I stayed home and worked Chris and the kids went up to Steamboat Springs for the annual Evans Family Reunion.
Alpine slides.
Mini Olympics.
Beautiful hike.
Sad I missed out on another reunion. Next year we're going on a cruise though, I will not miss that!
Last month I couldn't even talk about the birdies but now I actually think 3 of the 5 babies survived! I saw them!
The same set of parents as the last batch rebuilt the nest and laid 3 eggs over the 4th of July weekend. 2 weeks later they hatched. Now they're 2 weeks old and should fly the nest any day but I hope they wait until at least Monday when I'm home and can watch. I hope this is the last batch of the year. I'm ready to put the fan and rope away blocking visitors from getting onto our porch.
We saw Superman in theaters. It was alright. I think it's been long enough they should do a complete origin story and then make lots of follow up movies. This one felt too rushed and dropped in the middle of it. Looking forward to seeing Nobody 2 in a couple weeks!

Here are our adorable kitties throughout July 2025. Why Amy was sitting in the box the world may never know.
Kitties in a doll house. Why though? LOL.
The pet sitter sent this snapshot of Amy while we were in Idaho. Too funny!
My little kitty companion.
I followed through with taking more photos of Sandy this month! Don't you just want to rub that belly?!
She loves to be in on the action so she's always present, but doesn't like to be cuddled unless it's on her own terms.
We love our kitties sooooooo much!

Onto scrappy things!
While I shared only 3 layouts and 1 scrapbook in July, behind the scenes I made 11 additional layouts and 2 mini albums that I can't share quite yet, but soon enough! Click the links to see the projects I did share in July in more detail:
The first weekend in July I taught my in-person 4th of July Scrapbook Event in Wallace, ID. It was so fun to drive into Wallace and see this sign!
All my family pitched in to help decorate and set up for the event.
Scrapping the days away!
We had such a BLAST! Find a full recap of the event HERE.
The same week we got home from Idaho we flew to Vegas for Daisy's baptism and I gave her her scrapbook. I will do a full separate post with photos of the entire album at some point in the near future.
The first samples of Lovely Lane & Legendary arrived on July 10th!! Just like Christmas!
I quickly put them into organizers for easy access.
The last item to arrive was the 4x4 mini album sample which is just too adorable.
Lovely Lane will be available for pre-order in my shop on August 11th HERE.
Legendary will also be available for pre-order in my shop on August 11th HERE.
OR you can pre-order both collections together for a bit of savings in my shop on August 11th HERE!
Everything for our Lovely Lane Weekend in-person event arrived!!
Including the 4x4 mini albums, hooray!!
We made all the kits and shipped some of them out to virtual attendees. The rest will be saved for the event the first weekend in August.
I did a live unboxing on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel walking through both Lovely Lane & Legendary.
Watch the replay HERE.
A few days later I did a live Lunch & Learn for Scrapbook & Cards Today.
This was my set up which Sandy wanted to be a part of.
Watch the replay HERE. I walked through Lovely Lane and then demonstrated how to do my three favorite stitches: the French knot, chain stitch, and backstitch.

The Creative Team for Pinkfresh Studio was announced and I see me! Along with sooo many talented crafters! So excited for all that's to come.
Speaking of Design Teams, I'm looking to add 5 new team members - find all the details for applying HERE.
Be sure to sign up for Virtual Access to our Lovely Lane Weekend Event! Find all the details HERE.
Very soon I'll announce details for our Happy Haven Virtual Weekend Event!
