Last year when we went to Wallace, Idaho for the 4th of July I had the idea to do an in-person scrapbooking event at The Wallace Inn!
I got everything organized, prepped, ready to go, and at last the event arrived!
As we were driving into Wallace, this big sign greeted us! How fun!
I added the above pic in our family chat and the responses were hysterical. I love my family.
My sister was so proud of me she wanted to go get pics in front of it and hype me up. She's the best. And the sunset was spectacular!
On the 4th of July before the big family BBQ we loaded up the car and drove to the Wallace Inn to get set up.
My mom, sister, sister-in-law, Chris, Fox, and Jane helped set up. Many hands makes light work!
It was Fox's idea to hang this garland from the doorway - genius!
Almost done!
Before and after:
SO excited and ready!
Just the girls :)
Ready for the scrappers.

I taught (3) 3-hour classes over the course of 2 days showing how to fill this custom flag sequin album by Gi DeMello.
Find more photos and info about this album in my blog post HERE.
The afternoon of the event, Chris helped me check-in all the registrants and we had an hour to mix and mingle before the first class began.
There were 24 in-person scrappers and 26 who attended virtually. It was my first time combining in-person and going live and I think it worked out - the wifi and TV and all technology worked splendidly - phew!!
Everyone was soooo nice and had nothing but great things to say about Wallace. One friend even broke her leg the day before and still came! She's my hero - I never heard her utter a single complaint, she was so happy to be there. My hero!!
My mom made all the tassel garlands as a gift for those in-person to take home.
Near the end of my last class the first night, Daisy and Zoe came in to check everything out. They loved watching themselves grow throughout the 4 scrapbooks and their giggles were too adorable.

I kept everyone super duper busy making all the foundation pages :)
The event flew by because time flies when you're having fun!
Thank you friends who came from near and far and those who scrapped along virtually! I had such an amazing time being with you!!
Can't wait for the next in-person event here in Colorado called Lovely Lane Weekend - find all the details HERE!
