Hello scrappy friends! Phil Donahue here back on Paige's blog with an end-of-summer layout featuring her amazing Adventurous collection along with her SUMMER cut file. This layout features a gorgeous photo of my niece and her father captured during a beach walk right as the sunset and here's how I made it!
To begin, I resized the SUMMER cut file to about a 9x9 shape then cut it out from white cardstock. Next, I backed the cut file with Paper 15. I love the ombre pattern backing the cut file because it beautifully mimics the colors of a sunset. Next, I layered papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad behind the photo and adhered it to the center of the cut file. After, I added foam adhesive to the back of the cut file and placed it on the center of Paper 23 from the 12x12 Project Pad. The diagonal florals and gold foiling on the main background draws the eye directly to the photo. Next, I added gold mini Thickers to complete the title along with phrases from the Cardstock Stickers to accent the theme of the photo. Final touches were sprinkles of enamel dots, Floral Die Cuts, and tufts of muted yellow thread along the same diagonal of the main background to complete the page! I hope you found some inspiration in this layout and choose to try Paige's Adventurous collection along with her SUMMER cut file for your end-of-summer pages!
