Please excuse my lack of interesting post today. I am quite consumed by this book that I've been putting off reading cuz it sounded weird, and it is weird, but a good weird and now I can't put it down. Back to The Host I go.
A girl I work with is reading it too and she said the same thing!!
We did ride Everest. It was a good ride and enjoyed it! But that was pretty much it for that park. Do they have that park in Disney Land? I've never been to Disney Land before so I wasn't sure what they had as opposed to what Disney World had...
Hope you have a really great rest of the week Paige!!! e.
I have been TRYING to read The Host for sooo long. The beginning was so hard for me to get into, and now it just starting to get good to me....I think one more chapter and I wont be able to stop!
I have to comment on this post because I can't stand The Host. Here is why: Luke and I drove from Rexburg to Seattle for Christmas one year. Luke likes to listen to books on tape while he drives so he doesn't fall asleep. For 12 agonizing hours there and 12 agonizing hours back, I had to listen to that book on tape. It was SO weird. I think the voices reading the book annoyed me more than anything. Thus, I don't like the book. However, my feelings would probably be different if I actually sat down and read the book myself. :)
You have me intrigued. I'd love to hear what you think of it, might be a great summer read. Although, I'm busy working my bum off in the yard at the moment, so I'll happily wait until your done. Take your time. :)
I too will be waiting for your review. After I finished all of the Twilight books, my Kindle suggested I read The Host, but the summary didn't really appeal to me right away. So I'm a bit skeptical to read it...
I bought The Host over a year ago after reading the last Twilight book and being heartbroken that the series was over. I read a chapter or two, thought it was too weird and couldn't get into it. I think I'll have to pick it back up again and give it another chance.

Ohh I love that book! If you like that one, you should read Uglies. I was very similar to The Host and The Giver but it's way good! It's a fast read!!
