Did you know there is a stamp set in Oh My Heart?! It's made for planners and list makers, but why stop there?! Stamps are also perfect for scrapbooking and today Missy Whidden is sharing an amazing example of just that!
Hey, scrappy friends! Missy here and I’m excited to share another fun and colorful layout using the Oh My Heart collection. The focus this week is on the Acrylic Stamps and I used three of them on this layout. I created a few bullet-type list areas for my journaling and I used one of the tiny hearts to give accents to some of the letters in the big title. I love scrapping silly photos and this one of me and my sister acting goofy is one of my favorites. I love this fun quote I found on Pinterest and used my Cameo to cut it using mostly Paper 10 and some of the 6x6 Paper Pad papers. I wanted a bright and colorful title to act as the main design of the layout. I went with the black & white photo so it would really pop against all those gorgeous colors.

Here you can see the detail of all those fun letters. I used one of the tiny heart stamps to add some detail to some of the letters using black ink. I also machine stitched through each row of words to add a little more texture and detail. You can also see the background work here. As I frequently do, I added some white gesso to my background first to create a tougher surface and to fade away some of the bright aqua color of the B-side from Paper 01. I used some aqua, turquoise, and pink shades of watercolor to create some pretty splotches of color. I did minimal embellishing using a few pieces from the Chipboard Stickers and Sticker Book.

I can’t get enough of Paper 06! Those flowers just work on every page I think :) I fussy cut a few big ones to tuck in behind my photo as layers. I also added in some tangled thread. I used a few bits of 6x6 papers to layer behind my photo as well as some tissue paper from my stash.

Here you can see the bullet list stamping. It’s perfect for journaling. I just stamped it several times on my layout and added bits and pieces of fun memories about me and my sister. I colored in the circles with a black pen. I love how this turned out! I think it makes it easy to read the journaling since it’s broken up into different areas and it’s not just one long paragraph. Definitely something fun to do to change things up!
