The One with a Pinterest 4th of July

Monday, July 4, 2011

Happy Independence Day to all my stateside friends! And happy regular July 4th day to everyone else :) Since most of our festive activities haven't come to pass yet, I'll share some 4th of July things I like today and post what we did tomorrow. Get it? Got it? Good!

Pinterest makes it so easy to copy and paste my favorite bits of inspiration!

I don't really like pancakes, but I think I'd make an exception for these bad boys!

My parent's house in Wallace, ID decked out for the holiday. It's been one of my mom's dreams to dress up her house like this. Dream come true!

I wonder if this is a picture of real fireworks? If so, it's beautiful! If not, it's still beautiful!

Cute party favors!

A balloon wreath that would be fun to make with kiddos.

I love the red, white, and blue paper accordion decorations.

Somebody please teach me how to make this cake!

I want to make this print and frame it in an extra large frame!

This one too.

Now this I could make! Die cut lots of stars using a Cricut and sew them together with red thread. Easy peasy!

I've always wanted to try making sparkler pictures. Perhaps today is the day!

Note to future self: Plant red, white, and blue flowers in June for 4th of July loveliness!

Totally digging these streamers intertwined with twinkle lights.

Patriotic painted wood? Yes please!

I totally have that red striped fabric! Filed in my "to make" folder.

I think these are just plain ol' cute.

Ooooh. What a pretty 4th of July cake! It's much to good looking to cut apart and eat!

More of these things. I think I have an addiction!

What's not to love about white chocolate dipped strawberries with a little blue sprinkles?

Oh wow. Mouth is watering! What a perfect 4th breakfast!

That's all for now! Time to go celebrate our independence with balloons, a parade, good food, good friends, and fireworks! It promises to be an extra special day!
