Hi friends, it’s Kelly Daye here wishing you a very happy day before Valentines with this layout featuring Paige's Light Bulb from the 14 Valentine Cut Files along with her Blooming Wild collection!
First, I cut Paige’s Hearts Background from white cardstock and placed it over floral Paper 2. I adore how the random colors peek through. I cut a border from Paper 24, taped it on, and chain stitched around it with six strands of DMC 17 and 3689. I couldn’t pick one so I used both, ha! I think it looks fun half and half! To back the light bulbs I used Paper 20 and Paper 16. Each light bulb was backed with vellum to diffuse the background just a bit. Finally, I embellished my layout with all-the-pretty-things including Floral Die Cuts, Chipboard Stickers, Mini Flower Puffy Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, and Puffy Phrase Stickers. I topped it all off with a few sequins and gems from my stash and dabs of Gold Stickers (they're on everything, ha).
