Crop in Orlando Recap

Sunday, June 2, 2024

On Friday May 31st I flew to Orlando, Florida to teach at a pre-cruise crop with 45 scrappy friends!
It's been about a year since we first announced the Crop in Orlando and it was exciting that the day had finally come!
The flight was super bumpy the first 2.5 hours which wasn't my favorite. Even the flight attendants were ordered to sit. Not until the last 45 minutes was it smooth and we were able to get up and use the restroom. But, as I'm trying to teach myself to overcome my severe fear of flying, I survived the turbulence! It was okay!
I made it! In the shuttle on the way to the hotel.
View from my room. Pretty colors.
A pretty view of the hotel across from the small lake.
I headed down to the conference room to set up my stuff and say hi!
And take a selfie in front of the cute sign :)
On Saturday June 1st I taught a 6 layouts class in the morning using the Moonlight Magic collection by Crate Paper and you can purchase the class PDF HERE.
I keep everyone busy stitching, cutting, piecing, and more! :)
In the afternoon I taught a Moonlight Magic Traveler's Notebook and you can buy the class PDF HERE.
Here is a look at some of the kit supplies:
While I was teaching my parents were flying all the way from Seattle to Orlando to join us on the cruise the following day!
This group was so incredibly sweet and talented and easy!! Loved it sooo much!
The Crop in Orlando was super fun and I hope to do it all again soon!
