Best Friends Mini Book in a Box by Inessa Persekian

Monday, June 30, 2025

Hey friends! Inessa Persekian here and welcome back to Paige's blog. Today I’m sharing a super sweet and meaningful project - a mini album that celebrates friendship - all tucked into its own decorative case! It’s the perfect keepsake for a favorite memory with your bestie or a thoughtful handmade gift. Happy Haven is the perfect collection for this!
Here’s how I created it:
Cover the inside of the box using Paper 2 (the one with grid lines, perfect for a clean background). Decorate the outside and inner lid with Floral Die CutsFoam Stickers, and a heart detail for added texture and pop. Add a Tassel Charm to the ring for extra flair.
Create the mini album pages using a binder ring and papers from the Happy Haven collection (Papers 7, 8, and a variety of 3x4 cut-aparts). Layer in journaling spots, stickers, sequins, and florals to bring the pages to life.
This project came together so beautifully and I love how dimensional and cheerful it is. Whether it’s for a best friend, a sibling, or even yourself, this mini book is a great way to honor those special everyday moments!

Best Day Layout by Audrey Mutschall

Thursday, June 26, 2025

Hello friends! Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige’s gorgeous Happy Haven collection. When I saw Paige’s layout using the cross-stitched heart patterned paper from the 12x12 Project Pad, I knew I needed to stitch those hearts too!
I started by cutting a strip of paper with three rows of hearts, poking holes for stitching, and then using embroidery floss to stitch the hearts. When that was completed I used the solid pink cardstock from the 12x12 Project Pad to cut scalloped borders using Paige’s Scalloped Borders cut file. I arranged the scalloped strips on both sides of the heart paper to form a decorative border that draws your eye to the stitched hearts. Next I placed a ripped piece of striped Paper 1 behind the hearts and layered that onto a tiny floral background paper that can also be found in the 12x12 Project Pad. I printed a photo of my daughter taken on her birthday and framed it using one of the Polaroid frames from the Journaling Die Cuts. I layered elements from Paper 12 around my photo and then embellished with lots of flowers from the Floral Die Cuts. I fussy cut buttons from Paper 3 to use on the centers of the flowers, adding a little extra color and dimension to them. I hope this inspires you to check out Paige’s beautiful new Happy Haven collection!

Wavy Stripes Layout by Ashley Neu

Wednesday, June 25, 2025

Hi friends! It’s Ashley Neu here for the Paige Evans Design Team to share my next layout! Have you ever been struck by a crafty idea and you just had to try it out before you forgot about it?! That’s what happened with this layout. I was trying to decide what I wanted to make with Paige’s Happy Haven collection and this “wave” concept popped into my head.
One of the things I love about the 12x12 Project Pad is that it comes with coordinating cardstock. After cutting out 7 different colors of the cardstock at 1½” wide, I adhered them to a piece of scrap cardstock. I grabbed a pencil and drew a wavy line towards the top. After cutting along that line, I took those cut off pieces and traced the same design on the bottom half so that it was identical to the top. I adhered this fun wave design onto a piece of white cardstock. Then I added faux stitching with a white gel pen and Washi Tape on the cardstock paper strips. Next, I added my 4 photos flat to the layout. I wanted to mimic the design of the waves so I made sure my photos had that kind of variation in placement. My favorite part of this process came next when I did tone-on-tone embellishing with pieces from the Cardstock Stickers, 12x12 Project Pad, as well as a couple of embellishments from the Journaling Die Cuts. Lastly, I finished the layout with enamel dots from my stash. I just love when I can pull in my stash and it all just matches perfectly! Thank you for stopping by Paige’s blog and have a great day!

Congrats Grad Layout by Valerie Bisson

Tuesday, June 24, 2025

Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today and I’m so happy to share a new layout with you featuring Paige’s new Happy Haven collection and her Congrats Grad Cut File.
I chose a graduation photo of my daughter that I hadn’t scrapbooked yet and printed it at 8x 0” but ended up trimming it down to 5.25x10” - it fit my design better at this size. To document this photo I selected the Congrats Grad cut file. I started with white cardstock for the main outline of the cut file, followed by 3 of the floral papers: Paper 5, Paper 8, and Paper 9, a yellow cardstock, and a black cardstock, for a dynamic looking backed cut file. Next I took the cut file, placed it on the left side of the page, and lightly traced around it on the background to give me a guide so that I could add stamped flowers with the Happy Haven Acrylic Stamps in black ink. I stamped the seed pack image 3 times on different papers, fussy cut parts of the image, and layered them together on the bottom right. I also watered down the ink for some tiny sprinkles mixed in with the stamping. Before adhering the cut file to my page I added hand stitching using a back stitch in white thread outlining the star and the 2022 of the cut file. To me the stitching adds a wonderful textural element. Next I punched 2 border strips from Paper 9 with my favorite edge punch and added it to the top and bottom edges of the page. For a little embellishment I added pieces from the Floral Die Cuts, Journaling Die Cuts, Cardstock Stickers, and gold glittery stars from my stash. Lastly a little sprinkle of Distress Spritz in Fossilized Amber adds the perfect gold shimmer. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you’re inspired to create with Happy Haven and Paige’s Cut Files.

Spring Layout by Sophie Delorme

Monday, June 23, 2025

Hello scrapbook friends! Sophie Delorme here and I am happy to share this layout with you today! I used the gorgeous Happy Haven collection and a cut file from Paige named Spring Overlapping.
I cut the Spring Overlapping from white cardstock and backed it with several papers from Happy Haven. I also hand stitched each letter with matching thread. I placed my photo to the right of the big title and mounted everything on foam adhesive. I embellished the page with Cardstock StickersFoam StickersJournaling Die Cuts, and Floral Die Cuts, and hand wrote my journaling directly on the background. I ADORE this collection so much! It's so soft and delicate I can't wait to use it again on my next layout! I hope that this was inspiring for you, thank you for stopping by, and happy crafting!

Honolulu, Hawaii Rainbow Sequin Album by Paige Evans

Sunday, June 22, 2025

Hello scrappy friends! Today I want to share photos & details of the rainbow sequin scrapbook I made last month featuring photos from our Spring Break in Honolulu.
Here is a video flip through so you can see the size, scale, and details:
I have been collaborating with Gi DeMello (my “Bestie in Brazil”!) making custom sequin albums ever since my Halloween kit & class back in 2023. We’ve made over 20 sequin albums together since then with lots more in the works!
When I sent Gi a sketch with my idea for a rainbow sequin album to match the Rainbow Avenue collection by Celes Gonzalo she brought it to life more beautifully than I could have ever imagined!
The size of the rainbow sequin album is approximately 8½x9½” with a 2” spine so it can hold lots of pages and memories. I documented 346 photos from our recent Spring Break vacation to Oahu, Hawaii in this album - the perfect destination for all-things rainbow!
I LOVE to add ribbons & trims to the edges for the perfect and tactile finishing touch.
I put the pom pom trims in rainbow order to go along with the all-things-rainbow theme.
On Sunday May 4th I got started on my sample album and released the kits on May 23rd & 24th. That's 19 days from start to release - it was a very busy 19 days! But I had a goal to release the album during my 40th birthday month and I had to smash that goal!
The kits sold out in 1 hour and 13 minutes! I opened up orders to my "first-to-know" list that I'd been gathering since March for one hour on the evening of May 23rd and then I released the rest of the kits to my PaigePals on the morning of the 24th and those sold out in 13 minutes. I love scrapbooking sooooo much and I'm so happy that you love it too!
HAWAII has 6 letters and it just so happens there are 6 sections of sequins on the spine - perfect for the title! I love when serendipitous things like that happen. It's meant to be!
I finished off the album with a handmade tassel and paper baubles charm.
From cover to cover, this album makes me smile!
Let's look through some of the spreads:
I love hand stitching.
I had so many photos I wanted to include that for most of the spreads I created a collage on the left and a fun foundation page on the right.
A backed cut file page.
Rainbow fringe!
Paper weaving.
Folded hearts to make paper flowers.
Folded paper circles to make a textured diamond background.
Semi-circle rainbow stripes.
Watercoloring & rainbow string art.
A pocket to hold more memories.
I absolutely loved filling this rainbow sequin album with memories!
The purchase of the rainbow sequin album includes access to the 6.5 hour class but I have sold out at the moment - check MY SHOP frequently for when they're available again!
I have sold out of pastel sequin rainbow albums but I might have a couple extras after I ship out pre-orders next month.
I will open up pre-orders for a traditional rainbow sequin album soon!
Let me know if you have any questions and have a happy scrappy day!
