Seasons Change Layout & Process Video by Paige Evans

Hello scrappy friends! Here is my other layout that appeared in the Spring/Summer 2025 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine featuring my new Happy Haven collection and a butterfly punch!
I have a process video to show you how to create this layout:
My favorite scrapbook supply is patterned paper and my favorite technique is repetition so put those two together and you've got a classic Paige Evans page!
I started with a mint green paper from the 12x12 Project Pad for my background. Then I grabbed the paper with all the squares of different patterns also from the 12x12 Project Pad and used a butterfly punch to make on from every pattern. I also used the 6x8 Paper Pad which is still yet to show up anywhere :(. But as an alternative you could punch from all the double-sided patterned papers as well to make enough butterflies. The number of butterflies will depend on the size of your punch - a small punch you'll need more and a larger punch you'll need less. I added a round photo of Jane in the center and then layered the butterflies in 3 concentric circles around it. To secure the butterflies in place I machine stitched down the centers and popped up the wings with foam squares. I finished with a Foam Sticker title on the photo, journaling written on a Die Cut, and a couple of Mini Puffy Stickers.
I love the colors, texture, and dimension of this layout and hope it inspires you check out the Spring/Summer 2025 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine as well as keep an eye on my shop for when I release kits & classes with Happy Haven!
SUPPLIES: Patterned papers, stickers, die cuts: HAPPY HAVEN
