Hello creative friends! Monique Lowe here and I'm so happy to be sharing a new layout featuring Paige's Crafted Moments collection from Pinkfresh Studio!
I started with a sheet of textured white cardstock and machine stitched a 3 x 3 grid to add subtle texture on the background. Next, I selected four patterned papers and cut one to 3" square and one to 2" square from each design. After distressing and tearing the edges for extra texture, I arranged the squares within the grid, leaving the center space free for my photo. Once I was happy with the placement, I added some Distress Ink to the background using the packaging technique - my favorite way to create a quick splash of color! After everything was dry, I stuck down the paper squares with foam squares for added dimension. To frame my photo, I used a square element from the Ephemera Die Cuts along with a torn strip of Create Your Way Paper. Then came my favorite part - embellishing! I used the beautiful Floral Die Cuts to create small clusters around my photo and added a few more to some of the paper squares to help tie the whole design together. I tucked in a sentiment from the Ephemera Die Cuts before finishing the layout with a sentiment Cardstock Sticker and a sprinkle of Enamel Shapes.
